I just got out of a CRZ, the hybrid homage to the CRX. 40 mpg, 8 gallon gas tank, 400 pound load limit, fast but not quick. A bit of a challenge to get into but a nice car all the same.

If you want to know how much I care about cars, I just read the Wikipedia on crossovers to know what you were talking about haha. When I was tiny the family car was an AMC Eagle with 4wd and fake wood paneling and for much of my life that was my ideal car. Really tried to find one the last time I bought a car (25 years ago lol). I rented a Kia Soul on a trip a few years ago and that was about as appealing a car to drive as I have cause to use since. I know they are one of the cheapest popular cars out there, so heaven forbid I should ever have to get another one I would probably get one of those.

Hah. We had at least 2 wood sided caravans over the years. The last one my boys drove in high school. All their friends called it âWoodieâ and it was a big chuckle around the school. I heard about shenanigans with Woodie I would prefer not to know about when one of them got married.

My best friendâs family had the classic blue and wood panel station wagon. He accidentally tore the door off when he for some reason backed down the driveway with it open and the door hit their basketball hoop.
His dad found a scrap yard with alllmost the same door. After it was repaired, the car had one red/wood panel door.

One thing I noticed back in America is that cars donât have colors any more. Theyâre all metallic red green blue silver.

Basically agree. My first cars were early 90s shit boxes that broke down all the time and made me believe for decades that you were always basically flipping for the car to start.
