Hate to say it but t’s not surprising that Utd are firm favourites and that we are very poor value as second faves lol. We have nowhere near the consistency yet.

Are Ajax really that shit now?

UEFA have released a statement revealing they are aware of a post-match incident in the tunnel at Ibrox last night.

Slavia Prague accused Glen Kamara of attacking Ondrej Kudela at the end of the match in their own statement, with UEFA now awaiting detailed reports to shed more light on the incident.

UEFA is aware of an incident which occurred in the tunnel after the end of the match and which involved some players of both teams.

We are waiting to receive detailed reports of the match officials who were present at the game before commenting further.

But Slavia Prague have denied Kudela racially abused the Rangers star and has said he called Kamara a ‘f****** guy’.

And they launched a counter accusation as they released a strongly worded statement that stated the player at the centre of the storm was attacked within the Ibrox tunnel and they received a police escort out of Ibrox.

In what was a heated game with the home team kicking and screaming the whole time it wasn’t a surprise it kicked of for me, neither was the fact that racial words were used imo on the offending home team players after some choice challenges… Its upto UEFA to take a stance here, but would not be surprised if nothing happens.

Covering your mouth while you abuse someone does not give you the right to say your innocent.

Hopefully the player in question is banned for a while, maybe until next season and Slava Prague can continue in the competition.

If Slippy is so worried about racism in football he should have went down to George Sq last night and asked his boys to stop with it then.

I feel bad for Karmara tbh… He seems a decent guy in the wrong team.

Chris Sutton… “I’ve watched Glen Kamara play for a number of years and I’ve never seen him react in any incident like that.

“If it was the case and there was racial abuse then UEFA need to throw the book at the player.”

Slavia statement…

The players of Slavia in the match faced an unprecedented insidious game of the opponent, which they have not experienced in the history of modern European football.

A series of brutal interventions by the opponent ended with an injury to our players, the goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář ended with 10 stitches on his face and a concussion in the hospital.

After the match, the team was not allowed into the cabins and Ondřej Kúdela was cowardly beaten with fists in the face by player Kamara without warning in the presence of coach Steven Gerrard.

The UEFA representatives, who were personally present at the whole incident, were also shocked. The team is now safe at the hotel under Scottish police supervision.

Ajax have been good for one season in the last 15. Why would that surprise you?

Arsenal are much better than the Roma/Sevilla/Ajax tier. The best players on those teams are PL busts.

Reports have said that the slur was made, as all good racists do, under cover (in this case of a hand cupped over the mouth), so nothing is probably what will happen.
