Its worth noting that he liquidated at least some of his Tesla stock at prices lower then what they are now. So not only did he lose 30 billion on his Twitter investment, but the investment he liquidated to buy it is now worth more. So it’s like a double loss.

Is twitter actually worth close 14 billion though after what he’s done to it? He’s created a market for a secondary Twitter that some my try to fill and its user base is declining. It’s also hemorrhaging cash as all the advertisers left.
