Elon Musk: Proof that morons can become billionaires

Been thinking about these two posts for the last five minutes lol. Luther literally put his life on the line because he was annoyed at the Pope and refused to back down. Diablo ran off with his tail betwen his legs when the poster he was antagonizing killed herself. Which of the two best represents the epitome of posting? I genuinely can’t decide!

I don’t think I know this story, unless it was the woman with whom Sklansky was involved. And if it’s her I didn’t know Diablo was involved with that, and seem to remember him being around long afterward.

Also, it was a joke.

99% disagree. Trump’s insults are almost all stupid. Maybe a few rise to the level of mediocre.

I don’t remember the details and didn’t follow the Brandi story at the time. I just remember everybody lamenting him taking a couple of years off. Legit not trying to joke or be catty! I was just thinking what the ultimate poster behavior is - doubling down regardless or booking when the heat gets ugly. I can see arguments from both sides.

Agree that Elon is the worst, inexplicably bad. Truly money can’t buy you everything I guess.

You may be right about all of that re: Brandi, I didn’t follow very closely either. And the joke was really about how worshipped he was, so it works either way!

Name the one company I would less like a twitter clone from than twitter:

If Twitter weren’t so horribly run now, we would really be wondering how incompetent the previous regime was. Regardless twitter suing Microsoft claiming illegal api access.

Proving that something wasn’t rigged? Burden shift imo

AP should respond with a poop emoji.

Is Musk insisting that such claims don’t thrive on Twitter or that they are not being disputed?

He’s saying they aren’t false imo.

On a strict reading of his tweet, he’s saying Twitter is fact checking riggage claims. But really he’s just pissed off everybody isn’t kissing his ass.

Thanks for correcting. I knew that was probably a dumb post while I was writing it too, but the temptation to push the blue button was too strong for me. :frowning:

No worries - my initial post didn’t explain anything, and it’s not like your thought about 230 is necessarily wrong, it’s just one of those LOL Law issues.

Big “Please Clap” energy here.

Anyway, as a Tesla shareholder I am enthusiastic about Elon betting back to focusing on what he is best at - making an annual unfulfilled promise that self driving cars that don’t run over people will be ready next year.

You seem confused. Tesla collects valuable information from every collision with a pedestrian. Crashes just demonstrate their commitment to meeting their target dates. Which, btw, are just targets. They’re meant to be taken seriously at the time Elon declares them, not afterwards, and certainly not when they fail to meet them.

Oh, and we, uh, made up the data and staged the demo anyway…
