blocking appears to officially be gone on twitter. i only noticed when i tried to click the … top right on an advertiser and the option to block is no longer in the pulldown menu.
edit- im guessing this rolled out over the last month(?) but i hadn’t updated until last night.

Musk went so far as to say he personally examines the results of each price change to ensure production can continuously balance demand, rising when Tesla has too many orders and falling when it has too few.
This would explain the thousands of unsold Teslas scattered in parking lots around the world.

Have to admit, can’t stand Musk but happened by a Tesla showroom while in San Diego and found myself salivating over the cars.
Also, every other car on the road in SD is a Tesla.
if it’s a tweet by say global poker, you can’t click on the 3 dots on the post, you have to click on the post and then click on global poker to show their profile page. then you can click on the 3 dots and mute/block options are there.
i’ve muted hundreds of engagement accounts and sometimes the replies in bigger tweets are tolerable. still see like 7-8 “this tweet is from an account you muted” in a row, but that’s better than “hey you’re in the replies of a video of an f-22 raptor, here’s a cute kitten video” over and over.

i wonder if that’s how they figured out how to get around the rules of the app stores about how you have to be able to block users. the extra 3 clicks probably keeps people from blocking all the advertisers like i do. lol

also they have announced they are officially allowing adult content on X. which i think we all know really means they tried to fight the porn bots and the bots won.

yeah i’m probably around 80-100 advertisers and yeah, the extra clicks are annoying.

that seems like it should be a massive deal? do the tesla shareholders love the cult leader too much to even care that he’s fucking them over and still wants a 55billion dollar parachute payment?
$500 million seems like a drop in the bucket when you put it that way so I’d guess no, they don’t care.

Whole thing kinda confusing, wouldn’t this new Elon AI venture essentially be a direct competitor to Tesla if Tesla were supposed to rule the world by their AI advances? Like assuming Elon some sort of AI genius shouldn’t Tesla investors be pissed he starting a separate company seeing as he has pitched Tesla all this extra stuff to justify the valuation?
Matt Levine has written like five articles on this. I would read them more closely but the Elon with 5 companies scenario is so weird that knowing the appropriate analytical framework, other than “not my problem”, is a waste of effort.
It uses sophisticated AI to lick boots automatically so the driver doesn’t have to.
