They are! And both of them together seem to argue for treatment of social media as a sort of a common carrier. But Robert seemed quite pleased with the state of affairs that the first tweet represented a year ago. Surely the very valid concerns laid out in the second tweet were true back then as well, right?

I am going to have to completely tune out the news I guess. I can’t go back to a world where every media source only reports on the number of kernels of corn in the bowel movements of that fat orange disgusting pile of human toxic waste.

Tbf, I’ve had to switch to “recent” instead of “home” tweets because the algorithm sucks for delivering me tweets I actually want to see. I cautiously see Elon in charge as largely neutral, with significant variance, at least as likely to be positive.

those freaking out about elon buying twitter are just being silly but his idea isn’t gonna work, it’s just gonna go back to more of the shitshow it was before, like some of the stuff he says is because he has no idea how any of this works, which he will tell them to implement and maybe they’ll just ignore him and claim they did he won’t know
