Ha. Choose your own adventure. My older sons encouraging their little sister to pick the path that leads to death of the squirrel.
There was a book called The Dice Man where the hero essentially did whatever the dice decided. Read it a long time ago but I remember it was quite good.
I’ve used an RNG to decide something really close many times. Never outgrew eenie meenie miney mo I guess.

“Respecting the will of the people” and stepping down would be the smartest thing he’s done in quite a while. If he can start keeping his mouth shut (which I doubt), in a few months people will largely forget the bonkers period when Elon had a mental breakdown on Twitter.
He’s not capable of it, though. And from his perspective his asshattery has always worked, why stop now.
I just found out about this woman 5 minutes ago from your link and all I know about her is what I see on her twitter page, but I don’t think I’ve ever hated anyone more.
From his perspective it made him the richest man in the world. Going to be pretty tough for him to stop.
Agreed. People with narcissistic tendencies are not wired to have a big self awareness epiphany followed by a graceful exit from the center of attention. Quite the opposite.
I think it’s possible he’s sick of it and sick of getting shit on and looking for the least-embarrassing way out. I realize that would require much more self-awareness than he’s likely to possess, but it’s possible.
lol_lmao
There’s no way he’s sick of it. A grandiose narcissist, as you say, is not wired for suffering the same way as others. Everything we would experience as awful isn’t awful for Musk. Twitter is the most powerful narcissistic supply he’s ever had.

Q to musk’s mom: “who is your accounting firm?”
A: “I can’t disclose that because I can’t talk about other companies.”
