I don’t think Twitter is going anywhere. I don’t see any evidence of people leaving in droves. It was a hellscape before, and it’ll be a (slightly worse) hellhole after.
Elon can run it at a loss forever the same way Donald can run businesses into the ground forever - they are both cult leaders with infinite grift potential and will never suffer any real consequences for their narcissism.

I’m definitely not ascribing hardly any chance that Twitter goes down for a week+. And even if it does, I’d guess that ~all the junkies and flunkies will be right back banging that outrage button as soon as it’s back. But who knows, certainly I don’t.
