i guess some french streamer has ratio’d elon twice in two days… the first one, elon deleted his own tweet… the second one is currently being ratio’d again and the Effiel tower is joining in on the dunking…
you can feel almost equally sad for twitter employees who got laid off, or for those who were not. but the real victims might be those who held on to tesla despite flashing red flags all over. and ofc /r/wsb are involved, on both sides of the bet

Agree there’s something generally asymmetric here.
I know there are many groups of people who use twitter for a variety of purposes, and I don’t mean to leave them out of this equation. But for a big chunk of who we’re talking about (academics and journalists), this isn’t particularly personal. I use twitter because it’s a good tool and I basically have to, for work. But if it goes away another tool and work requirement will just crop up.
