Marginal tax rates seem like an incomplete explanation. Friendlier to the corporate class? Eh, sorta, although Republicans are pushing all sorts of weird tech regulations and have a big anti-EV bent.
I can’t help but think it’s because libs are snarky and mean to him on twitter when he spouts his incorrect bullshit, while internet Republicans treat him like a demi-god who speaks in automatic truths.

It’s a bit of everything. Republicans are going to lower his taxes, but with Trump at the head of the party it opens itself up to being much more secular libertine than theocratic, at least aesthetically.

Look what happened with YouTube and ad-pocalypse. Advertisers found out their ads were on all sorts of content they don’t want to touch and the fallout was a drastic change to YouTube monetization works.
Elon still doesn’t get he works for the advertisers, not the other way around. This is not some Steve Jobs vs wireless carriers will you can demand my-way-or-else, the advertisers will absolutely leave and you will have to pay them to come back.
I question the overall effectiveness of twitter advertising in the first place.
