the stephen/elon negotiations were so lol. king said that twitter should be paying him, and elon dropped the priceof verifications to infinty percent more than before.

Why is it still called “verification”? Is anybody verifying anything other than the receipt of eight bucks?
The official language in the app just calls it a blue check and doesn’t say anything about verification.

Leaving the plane tracker up has got to be because he realizes it’s just scraping public data from another site and he’s already Streisand’ed it enough with his previous attempt to shut it down.
