Douchebag 2.0—an Elon Musk company

Even with these hypothetically, OFACs power is probably underestimated by most people. If Musk sold $8 subscriptions to sanctioned people then OFAC could technically seize that money in the US. One of the reasons OFAC is so powerful is that they can make so much money. Of OFAC wants a foreign entity’s US assets, they can just declare the entity a terrorist and grab them.

I am not 100% sure but I’m pretty dang sure because every time I look at a ben shapiro tweet I scroll for days and only see comments dragging him

Some even drive Teslas!

I’m sure Morgan Stanley and all the other banks who still have to try to sell the debt off their books are really enjoying this runout!

Thankfully for them they are adept at selling terrible debt to Muppets.

The twitter trending page for the layoffs is wall to wall maga glee. Maybe 1/20 posts are from the left.

I don’t suppose punitive damages of some sort come into play here? Seems suboptimal for the legal system to give him a free roll. Will he at least have to pay their attorney’s fees?

Man, this is so true.

lol what a cuck

Other bad deals are getting off at 80 cents on the dollar, but I dont even think twitter has a shot at that. Best case they’ll be able to tranche out some first out piece for like 20% of the exposure and get that out at 80. Until markets improve materially or Elon turns into a genius, they’re just along for the ride. It has been a muppet factory for years in debt markets, but this one a bridge too far.

i think i know this guy from a long time ago

Watching Elon drown in a tar pit is the most fun I’ve had since Trump got COVID. I’m turning into a bitter person in my old age.

lol he’s like a 12 year old whose entire management education was watching Office Space

these Very Serious People keep saying that elon is really smart and wouldn’t spend $44B without a plan and wouldn’t even have the $44B unless he knew what he was doing and literally every decision he’s made since closing the deal has made it absolutely clear that he absolutely had NO fucking plan AT ALL (probably assumed he was going to be able to bullshit his way out of the deal so never prepared at all) and further more that he has no idea how to actually manage anything.

Sure but Elon’s so smart he just offered $44 billion and looked into Twitter’s business less than someone buying a $1000 used car.
