Douchebag 2.0—an Elon Musk company

Twitter isn’t getting memed - that shit is over. But we may see it again on VH1s I Iove the 20s when they discuss pent up demand due to covid that caused folks to lose their minds and raise the value of useless nfts and crypto to values higher than the total mortgage defaults of 08.

Twitter is going to do something about these tweets, right? Natalie Portman.gif

They did!

Jews creating cancel culture seems to be OK, though.

No one is stopping Kanye until he murders a child or something. Just stupid how publicly unstable rich people can be in our society.

He’s very obviously in the middle of a mental health emergency.

And also, he seems to possibly maybe hate jewish people.

Shocking.

Invoking the Logan Act is classic lawbro wishcasting.

Somebody really needs to tell the lolaw bros about the “fuck you, no” act. I don’t think they teach it at law schools but it’s the most undefeated act out there.

exactly. im going to start telling my lawschool when they call me and ask for money that until they start a class based on rich/powerful people doing whatever the fuck they want and getting away with it, that im not donating money. lol

IIRC, the Logan Act has never once successfully been used, it’s on extremely shaky Constitutional ground, and Elon has “lol go fuck yourself” money. I swear it only exists so lawbros and nerds like me can reference it and sound very smart on the internet.

What if this investigation paradoxically gives him a way out of the contract? If he’s legally unable to own the company or guilty of some crime in the process of making the acquisition then might it trigger some standard exit clause?

Though Musk has received widespread acclaim and thanks for responding to requests for Starlink service to Ukraine right as the war was starting, in reality, the vast majority of the 20,000 terminals have received full or partial funding from outside sources, including the US government, the UK and Poland, according to the SpaceX letter to the Pentagon.

Remarkable sentence there. Could mean basically anything depending on what partial funding is.

You could write an entire dissertation on the role “in reality” plays in that sentence.

Not 100% sure about this, but it appears the documents referenced weren’t published, which makes it seems very likely this is a tactical Pentagon leak. Also perhaps some (or even all) of Elon’s erratic public behavior and the Starlink outage in Ukraine were also negotiating tactics to get paid? That’s probably better than him going tankie, but disappointingly tawdry.
