I mean it’s a bit like playing with a wild animal. Even though you don’t deserve it you’re kind of asking for it in the sense that in this kind of public arena Musk isn’t some good faith CEO.
Though even with the best CEO I wouldn’t advise broadcasting mundane HR shit to him. Just do the Milton, collect a paycheck or sue to collect back pay until you get a firing letter.
In any case, Musk’s schtick will be to humiliate you as much as possible, regardless of the truth. You were never going to get a honest cordial answer. It just wasn’t going to happen.
