I mean, she herself has done the same shit. So, yes, it only matters when it affects her. Similar to what she said about the ACA too. It’s only a problem because her family needs the subsidies.

Does anybody else here think MTG is in real danger of getting assassinated?
I think the Charlie Kirk killer did it because Kirk wasn’t sufficiently pure. As a sitting Congressperson (and allegedly aspiring Senator/Governor), MTG necessarily has to make public appearances, and meet with constituents. The threat profile, and opportunities she faces, can’t ever be realistically or adequately secured.
Trump is so callous with this sort of thing. If some lunatic does him a favor, he’d be like, “Welp, that’s what happens when people get angry.” Like how he doxxed judges or whistleblowers, and whatever happens to them, happens.

On an absolute scale, I agree she’s a net negative for government, and society at large, and the world would be a better place without her influence.
I just don’t think it’d be a good look if an outspoken Trump critic would be violently silenced.
