Everyone sleeps in court. Judges, jurors, clients, spectators. It’s pretty boring.
The issue I saw was the circumstance and the average person would be juiced up when in court as a defendant. I don’t know how true that is.
“Close the white house pandemic-preparedeness office”
What could possibly go wrong?
I think that is the biggest thing that comes out of this whole trial.
That’s a good point. I meant he can easily spin it to his supporters. You’re right it has to look terrible to the jury.
That’s a wrap until Thursday. Another contempt hearing scheduled.

Trump seems to hate being in court. So I am all for as many court cases as possible lasting as long as possible even if they may not be fruitful.
Stormy’s nickname was… “Peggy”.
All of my . Every one.
I’ve never, ever heard of sleeping as a sign of dementia. Stimulant abuse and not sleeping at night makes way more sense
The freaks come out at night
Agreed, but I think they’re saying not that sleeping is a sign of dementia but that the emotional detachment necessary to sleep in this circumstance is a sign of dementia.
Some BODY once told me
the law was gonna own me
Nobody’s sat in court for so looooong
He was looking out cold
with his head a-hanging’ low
And the drool dripping down on his papers.
Wow what lawyer coulda seen that coming with this job, poor guy
He’s so used to never being called out he wasn’t even prepared
Would not sleeping at night lead to more sleeping during the day?
A little background on Roy Cohn, Trump’s favorite lawyer. Cohn was Joseph McCarthy’s chief counsel while they were ruining people with bullshit senate committee hearings in the mid-1950s. McCarthy wanted to subpoena Robert Oppenheimer but J. Edgar Hoover warned him off. Why? Because Hoover (and Lewis Strauss, Oppie’s main antagonist in the the movie Oppenheimer), also wanted to discredit Oppenheimer and thought McCarthy’s crew was a bunch of clowns that would likely screw it up. The author of the Oppenheimer biography the movie was based on, Kai Bird, is now working on a book about Cohn.
He’s just resting his eyes.
