I’m pretty sure if you made me sit in a courtroom, no phone, listening to people drone on for hours, I’d fall asleep 7/7 days. You can say “but he’s on trial!” but he doesn’t give a shit and fears no consequences so this is like a traffic ticket hearing for him.
But to be fair I may also have dementia, so.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if Trump has been taking modafinil and that keeps him up/high energy.
I can’t fall asleep at night because I’m replaying all the stupid and awkward shit I did during the day and Trump is so unfazed by his criminal trial he can doze off any time he wants.
Maybe we do want him in the situation room with his finger on the button, the guy is cool as ice under pressure.

There’s video evidence of me falling asleep on a movie set and I also lost my wedding ring that night, so yeah, dementia definitely a possibility.
(My wife found the ring a year later, so all’s well that ends well.)

In detailing the terms of the Stormy Daniels deal, Keith Davidson described the origin of pseudonyms used by Donald Trump and Daniels.
Trump used “David Dennison,” while Daniels used “Peggy Peterson,” Davidson testified.
Davidson, who represented Daniels during the deal, said he was the one who came up with the two pseudonyms.
Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass asked if David Dennison is a real person. “He was on my high school hockey team,” Davidson said.
“How does he feel about you now?” Steinglass asked.
Davidson replied: “He’s very upset.”

Ya not sure why everyone is so excited about this. Easiest thing on earth to spin.
It should matter to jurors. If he can’t stay awake during a trial they have to stay awake during, why should they rule in his favor? You’d think someone would say to him, ‘you’re making it look like the jurors are wasting their time. That’s bad for you.’
Based on photos I’ve seen of him during the trial, it looks like he doesn’t sleep and is up all night crying.
