It’s wild Trump isn’t saying a word about Pecker

He’s afraid Pecker will plaster him

With buried stories

Pecker’s the guy who buried all of Trump’s negative press, the man probably has loads of dirt he could unleash if he wanted to.

edit: ponied

You pony sleeps with goats.

Pecker’s been holding onto this stuff for a long time, at some point he’s just going to unleash it all.

Pecker is touched by Trump

At the conclusion of Pecker’s testimony, prosecutor Joshua Steinglass asked if he had any ill will toward Trump.

“On the contrary,” Pecker said, “I felt that Donald Trump was my mentor. He helped me throughout my career.”

Pecker offered an example: in October 2001, one month after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Pecker’s newly renovated offices in Boca Raton, where he had consolidated all of his tabloids, received envelopes containing weaponized anthrax. One of his editors opened one of the envelopes, inhaled the anthrax and died, he recalled.

As a result, the FBI building quarantined the building, and Pecker and his employees couldn’t access it. “I was in a very difficult place,” Pecker said, “and the first person who called me asking if I needed help was Donald Trump.”

In recent years, Pecker said, “even though we haven’t spoken, I still consider him a friend.”

Pecker is now being cross-examined by Trump lawyer Emil Bove.

omg, i would 100% suspect that a trmp fixer sent the anthrax in that situation

Even if it got sent back to DC on July 3 couldn’t they just quickly reiterate their last slam dunk decision and get the ball rolling shortly thereafter? I remember Chutkan promised to give the defense time but even so, the trial could start in September
