I voted for her most likely Maga. Whatever she is she is lying. She is an educated woman. Not having an opinion is impossible.
Frankly Iām confused by anyone who is seated on this jury. Iām a relatively civic minded person, but there is absolutely no chance Iād allow myself to be on the jury if only out of concern for the safety of myself and my family. Serving on a Trump jury is a guarantee that your life is irreparably changed for years to come. Iād do a month sequestered on a murder trial, but Iād say anything in the world to avoid this one.

Honestly, if I thought there were real consequences associated with this trial, sure Iād volunteer to be the guy who gets to put him away. MAGA chuds donāt scare me much, if I move downtown the hoveround militia wonāt dare come after me.
He was probably referring to the number of vetos the defense gets.

I responded ālet the chips fall where they mayā because I think once youāre in the process, one is inclined to treat it seriously and not game it either way. Although the two month timeline may have me trying to get excused, but that has no connection to it being a Trump trial.

yeah i donāt love the idea of letting a seemingly conservative leaning litigator onto the jury if iām the prosecution. heās going to run the room for sure. anyone that says they dont or canāt know Trumpās character is absolutely lying.
also itās amusing that two lawyers have already gotten through. the only jury selection i had to attend recently as a potential juror there were 5 attorneys, and all of us got struck for both trials.(1 for cause)

Barring a full out shaman type brainwashed Trump supporter, I have faith that most people can put aside their biases and go by the evidence. I mean, sure you try and whittle out people with strong feelings either way, but you gotta trust that theyāll go by the evidence
Also, I read somewhere once where people who ARE susceptible to brainwashing wonāt necessarily do well to hold onto their beliefs in a setting where they are forced to hear and be exposed to FACTS for days on end
Either way, Iām not asking for a sweet summer child mentality (Iām also worried about the possibility of a rogue juror), but letās try to have some optimism around here and not be so god damn depressing all the time. Itāll be in the hands of a jury of his peers. We need to accept whatever the outcome is
