Trump has now attended several proceedings linked to his civil and criminal trials and has been disruptive at some of them.
When he showed up in January for a trial in Manhattan to determine how much money he would have to pay the writer E. Jean Carroll, he made noises of disgust and muttered so loudly that the judge, Lewis Kaplan, admonished him.
During closing arguments by Carrollās lawyer, Trump went so far as to abruptly stand up and walk out of the courtroom. At another point, when the jury wasnāt present, Kaplan threatened to remove Trump from the room.
The judge āadmonished himā and āthreatened to remove Trump.ā Lots of WHY I OUGHTA and fist shaking there, I bet Trump was worried he might have to stand in the corner or not get a snack.
How we got here: Attorney General Merrick Garland proceeded with by-the-book caution in the election interference investigation that led to an indictment against Trump, but he may have made a mistake by not recognizing that he could end up racing the clock.
LOL. We STILL have people pretending that the 2024 election somehow caught Garland by surprise instead of him viewing it as the finish line he needs to cross to be able to say āthe people will decideā and wash his cowardly hands of this mess instead of seeing it through.

At some point the blame has to fall on Biden for the most disastrous appointment in my lifetime.

What this speaks to for me, is the unlimited power of the presidency (and former presidency). I assume Obama could get away with shit like this too?
