The German maga party proposed mass expulsion of immigrants, more than a million Germans filled the streets in protest. When it happens in the US it hardly makes the news.
The German MAGA party has about 10% of the seats in the Bundestag.
Compare that with the US and you probably have most of your answer.
I’m not following. MAGA is more popular in the US so outrage should be higher.
People are desensitized here. It’s hard to organize a mass protest when the result will probably be nothing.
The case may be different in Germany.
I don’t think that is it at all. It’s American culture and the total lack of historical understanding. Germany has recent history that they have actually reconciled with.
