For anyone that games or just wants to chat with others from the forum I’ve started a discord server.
edit: i’ll be around for a few hours tonight doing my usual sunday night prep for monday work, watching twitch and reading about the Postle scandal
I’ve heard of Discord, but never used it. What does it provide that can’t be done within the forum?
its mainly a voicechat platform for gaming but you can just hang out and chat as well
That sounds like it siphons off traffic from this forum.

What does voicechat provide that textual interaction doesn’t?
was really not expecting negative feedback, was just putting it as a place where people could maybe chat and especially gamers on the forum might connect.
I think it’s a good idea but I don’t own a mic for my PC to have a ready excuse to avoid voice chat if I’m playing games. Ok I lied, I have one but it’s buried somewhere.
