Democratic Primary Debates

? There are very few Bernie supporters here… I’d say more pull for Warren

ah well, check my avatar, that’s more why I feel out of place

No big mistakes by Joe… Except his website, and if it is actually still available as he’s bad at the. Com it seems…
Kamala done OK But had some bad moments that should be looked at during her professional career.
J. Castro and done well I think.

Pete fans absolutely welcome, I like Pete but he has lost ground over the last month or so

Michael Moore hottake… The only 1 that’s able to beat Trump is? Michelle Obama.

Saying we’ll make it through 4 more years of Trump but we’ll not make it through 8 more years of Trump was by far his worst gaffe. He added a couple of mores to his talking point.

There’s no doubt the top three from last night were better than the tops tonight, but you’d never know it by the coverage.

I gather the general tier list around here of the main 5 is

  1. Bernie Warren
  2. Pete
  3. Kamala
    30330 . Biden

Which is also my tier list.

People need to wake up that Michael Moore is terrible. He gets one thing right, and he thinks he’s a genius.

I like Castro a lot but he has no real juice.

Agreed…

I like Michael, he’s a good guy and his heart is in the right place

Mayor Pete I think is pretty solidly somewhere in the “not hated” 2nd tier for most everyone here.

I have a problem with him as a filmmaker. He plays really fast and loose with chronology and often context, which is something that shouldn’t be done in documentary filmmaking. He tells a good story, but he distorts everything he does to give the subject the worst possible look. It’s especially problematic when he doesn’t even need to do any of that to get the same effect.

I also do not think he’s even remotely a liberal. I think they call his type a left libertarian whatever that is. He’s the kind of guy I would totally buy voting for Trump (at least before he became some sort of weird liberal hero). He’s the type that would believe that ‘what have you got to lose?’ garbage.

I guess what I appreciated more about last night was that most of them refused to take CNN’s bait and personally attack the others. Like, Pete and Bernie both managed to give good answers to an utterly ridiculous age question. Tonight it was all pile on each other, looking for the best zinger.

His best Doc was the healthcare system with him going around the world showing what other country’s have, and even then it was distortion when Infact the whole truth would have been 100% better… I honestly think its money that stops the overall researchers doing the work.

Yeah, I think Harris lost a lot of points tonight. But they set it up for her to try to dunk on people and then turned it into basically letting everyone skewer her and I sensed she was really trying to hold back from getting heated.

Her best response to Tulsi was who are you? What hard decisions have you had to make?

I personally get a little miffed at the idea that these 1 and 2 percent candidates are allowed to launch so many shots at people they can’t remotely beat. I don’t think Yang took shots at anyone which made him look better by default even if was a bit, really, really repetitive.

LOL, ok, yes I’m biased, but you have to love the rapid response here:
