I also watched TDS during the Kerry/Bush election, but I was Canadian and in HS. Last night I looked up the election platform of both and wooooof. Forgot how big gay marriage was and how virulent that was at the time.
Clinton getting caught getting a blow job led directly to W making the election close enough to allow Florida to steal it.
Kerry went high and his ass was handed to him. Bill won by fighting back and having a crazy conservative run a third party campaign.
