See I don’t blame the voters particularly. The democratic party is a pretty elaborate and insidious trick. It’s tough to see through, I’m damn cynical and it took me forever to accept the truth. The “good guys” said joe was the only one to beat trump. If you believe they have your best interests at heart even just by comparison to the “bad guys” then why wouldn’t you vote for joe?

For the “Bernie should have backed Warren” takes to make sense, Warren would have needed, you know, people to actually vote for her. Her supporters make up a tiny slice of the democratic party. The establishment doesn’t liker her and the left barely tolerates her. I mean, you guys have to understand that people simply don’t agree with you, no matter how smart you are.

I’m in the waiting room finding out my wife had to have a somewhat unexpected total hysterectomy(still pending the cancer biopsy). The core of the take is that if Bernie supported Warren, then the left actually would support her, which combined with her wonk/media support + her reduced toxicity to the establishment would let her run an actually successful insurgent campaign.
I understand that you all hate her now, but you have to think counterfactually and understand that if Bernie and his surrogates told you to like her rather than hate her, you’d counterfactually like her.
