It’s true though

Absurd fashion burdens are something women have inflicted on themselves. If y’all want pockets, add some. We won’t even notice the difference.

I take it you’ve never asked your wife if you could temporarily store something in her purse. I only ask when I want someone to yell at me.

This is not entirely true. Women are not necessarily in charge of women’s fashion, or at least not in charge of what is available to them in the store. Plus, there is a TON of shit baked into fashion from literally hundreds of years ago that’s still there for no good reason. Men’s shirts have buttons on the right and holes on the left as you’re putting on your own shirt, because that’s the natural orientation a right handed person would want them in. Many women’s shirts have them backwards, because way back when ladies of status would have people dress them rather than dressing themselves. This hasn’t been true even for most rich people for at least a century, but you can still find backwards buttons and zippers.

I found an amazing looking shirt at the thrift store in the late 90’s. Wore it to the bar, and full of confidence that is inspired by being dressed well, started chatting up a young lady. She smiled and asked me why I was wearing a woman’s shirt. That’s when I found out what buttons on the left side means.

I have North face boots 2 pairs that are ladies because of the slim fitting as my feet are skinny too.

I don’t buy a lot of trainers because of this as there always too loose on my feet, I’ve found Adidas and NB suits my feet better than most.

Fortunately the boots are a generic colour and are about 20 years old :joy:

All of my running shoes are women’s shoes, they fit my feet better and I’m not going to give myself plantar fascia pain because I’m terrified of wearing girl’s shoes.
