Okay but this one is kind of true as long as they don’t face each other. At least that is my not a doctor’s opinion on the recommendations to run side by side rather than line formation.
High-vis lives matter
Not even a meme, a screenshot from my news feed of an actual news story. But soooo much going on here
I think I posted this on 2+2. But in high school I had a buddy that worked at the local pizza joint. About 15 minutes before closing I’d call and order 2 large pizzas and just never pick them up. The staff, all high school kids except for the owner or his wife, would close down and there’d be those two leftover pies that my buddy would ask if he could take home. We might have over played our hands a couple times (especially when the name I’d leave for the order was my buddy’s name).
You had to scam for that? My housemate in college worked at a pizza place and always came home with tons of leftover pizza, they always had stuff left at the end of the night.
When I was in high school I had a buddy who worked the overnight shift at the donut place. At the end of his shift he would make donuts for the morning rush, and he had to dispose of the “old” donuts from the overnight shift. He loved to show up at my place at 7 am like Dunkin Donuts Santa with a huge bag of free donuts.
I presume places that sell by the slice will often have leftovers. But some pizza places only sell by the pie, and only put one in the oven when the have an order.
I worked at pizza hut for 5 years. You’d be surprised how much pizza gets thrown out after it’s made. You get 3-4 no-shows a day, people returning incorrect orders, having to remake pizzas going to wrong table, etc.
Going through Scottish tweets and I genuinely thought this was about our Police.
