No-one’s asking you to tear up. Amazing that like six or seven people have taken issue with me and none of them, not one (1) has even tried to address what I’ve actually said. You’ve all felt the need to make some shit up to get mad about, because you know you can’t actually defend what people have been doing ITT.

Gotta balance my range to deflect criticism when I dance on the graves of the Valentines of the world.

No one is willing any one to die. If I tell people how safe it is to jump off a cliff and then do it and die I deserve mockery. The end. This idea people encouraging death and suffering deserve more is juvenile.
Ok newborn baby that tragically dies a few hours after birth is last. Innocent enough? Although really what did the baby accomplish in its few hours alive. Sure no evil, but the positive side of the ledger is a bit lacking.

I haven’t suggested people are willing others to die. I’ve taken issue with people gloating over the deaths of others and fantasising about ways in which their deaths could have been more unpleasant.
You might want to check out some of NBZ’s posts. The results may surprise you.

Guilty of wishing Rush to continue a painful existence just a while longer. Sue me. Not going to apologize.
Ok one? This idea the forum is cheerleading deaths based on the body of work of the last 18 months is not accurate. Are people fed up at the stupidity now? Of course. How could you not be?

Fair enough, I put Limbaugh more in the Rumsfeld/Kissinger category (I had heard of him by the early-to-mid-'90s). I am saying that there’s a very, very high bar to clear before it’s OK to do that kind of thing, I’m not inclined to suggest Limbaugh didn’t clear it. This Valentine guy? Yeah, not so much.
I also assume there’s a carve out in there for willing the death of Trump. Half the forum has hoped he dies of COVID, heart attack, failure to properly negotiate a flight of stairs, etc. at some point.
I’m sure his death would be more unpleasant if his attending nurse was a gay brown male, is that fine to wish for?
Yeah you can fantasise about whatever you’d like in terms of his nursing staff, I suppose.
And that’s not remotely evil. This idea that somehow death supercedes what should be the rational benefit/harm calculation in these situations is again juvenile. The world would have been better off if Trump had died from Covid. I don’t think that’s very debatable. Rooting for that especially is once he has pozzed himself with idiotic behavior is fully rational. Coming here to lecture people about their “blood thirst” and other bullshit is what’s fucking misguided and irrational.
Yah none of that is what’s happened here, either. I am once again asking you to read the fucking posts.
Sorry I can’t read. There have definitely been posts about the blood thirst of most people here. Maybe you didn’t write them but you sure are here carrying water for them.
Quote a few? I’m not hugely invested in this thread and don’t have exhaustive knowledge of its contents.
It is a good thing for society when evil people die.

I thought I had one, but then realized I was thinking of Edward James Olmos in Stand and Deliver.

It’s gotten to where if I see 80 posts itt I know it’s going to be tone policing leading to endless bickering with zero useful content.
Can we make an argue about the covid thread containment thread?
