So, one of my best friends confirmed pozzed yesterday after being a little sick most of the week. Hospital sent him home with steroids and a zpack for isolation and remote monitoring. His wife is pregnant with their first kid and is a teacher of children <12 in the Orlando area, which starts school tomorrow. I donât know if sheâll be remote working or what, didnât really think about that at the time.
He was hesitant to get the vaccine when I originally talked to him about it back in March/April when I was getting mine. I believe he had resistance around the âdonât know the side effectsâ and âIâm healthy, so it wonât do much to meâ areas which was pretty common for March/April when it seemed like we were on the way down from the big surge. I didnât follow up with him after and I should have. Iâve already reached out to a few friends that I knew were on the fence or hadnât got the vaccine yet.

My daughter talked to her, and she told me she told her that. Iâm hoping she misunderstood her. Like how can you risk your very livelihood like that, even if you hate vaccines??
