Ugh Iâm sorry you have to deal with this shit again. I was talking to a friend last night who is an ICU nurse and she said they had to reopen their Covid unit recently and that itâs now completely full, 100% unvaccinated. This is in NJ. I donât know how you guys do it. The negative level of fucks I have left to give for these people would almost certainly cause me to give a lower level of care.

The latest figures are based on cases logged from June 20 to July 17, a period when the delta variant of COVID-19 spread throughout Israel.
The report has also reflected the decreasing potency of the vaccination, showing a mere 16 percent effectiveness against transmission among those vaccinated in January, compared to 44 percent of those vaccinated in February, 67 percent of those who received their shots in March, and 75 percent for those vaccinated in April.

The relative prevalence of breakthrough cases among vaccinated people just reinforces the fact that everybody who isnât vaccinated is going to get COVID eventually.
Also, isnât it likely that people who are fully vaccinated will be asymptomatic, and therefore less likely to get tested/isolate, and therefore more likely to spread the virus?

That wonât be a huge deal if people have acquired immunity.
Infection rate has been falling here versus last week (but will probably rise again once the effects of opening up come into force).
I mean I assumed this was true from the beginning.
Gonna be one of those we get once or twice a year.
Israelâs findings arenât anywhere else, their data doesnât really make sense at a basic level, and itâs not released for peer review.
