The information will be valuable to other countries inhabitants who are also on a an extended 12 week betwen dose regime (Canada, half of Europe who will follow the UK and bring forward 2nd doses for the vunerable). Countries who went the 12 week gap exactly becuase fast spreading variants might occur when they were planing the vaccine âdriveâ.

It will be interesting to see if there is an uptick in COVID cases in the next few weeks, even as vaccinations are going up. I fully expect non-vaccinated people to just do whatever they want.
Our school district said next school year will likely be âmask optional.â I donât think my kids care if they have to wear one or not, but they are about to get vaxxed, so I guess I might not have to shell out more bucks for a fresh mask supply.
The âinformationâ is useful to nobody because itâs not information. It is disinformation. It has repeatedly been pointed out to you that it is, and why. You have repeatedly, for months made predictions about the variants and the vaccines that have proven laughably wrong, both in studies and in real world results from countries with good vaccine programs including your own. The variants are not evading the vaccines. Stop posting your disinformation bullshit because your best case scenario is people ignore your bullshit and your worst case scenario is that you discourage people from getting vaccinated because âwhy bother.â

reality is though nothing changes except more people not wearing masks, they already had started not to because they dgaf and nobody is gonna do shit about it (the ones who really didnât give a f already had around here, but instead of just a handful of them itâs gonna be majority I think soon)

Iâm not sure yet. If states keep mask mandates up and localities do, then maybe it just does serve the goal of getting more people to vax while not causing as much damage as we fear.
Thereâs signs saying no mask gtfo around here but nobody is gonna do shit about it, Ivâe seen a handful not wear them and nobody will do anything but itâs gonna be majority now vaxâd or not.

Itâs a really weird dichotomy down here. We are seeing empty storefronts everywhere, between businesses not renewing leases due to wfh + businesses no longer existing due to CovidâŚwhile at the same time, property insurance policies are getting canceled left and right and those that arenât are seeing rate increases ranging from 20-40% or even more in some cases. Strange days.
