If your doc told you to go in, then I’d do it.
However, I think if you spent some time you could probably make some estimates on stroke risk and such and figure out which risk you would rather take. Lot of unknowns though. So it’s not a clean calculation.

I’d rather get covid than have a stroke or heart attack. Follow the doctors advice, but feel free to vet the provider’s precautions or get a second opinion by one you trust more to keep you safe. And obviously it’s every man woman and child for themselves out there, so do everything you can to reduce risk.
