COVID-19: Chapter 6 - ThanksGRAVING

That’s reassuring.

BTW I don’t mean that things are much better in Glorious Socialist Ontario. People are basically burned out on pandemic life here. Its basically vaccine or bust at this point. This winter is going to be a mess.

I like the sentiment but this is kind of lol. 3700 people die everyday from car accidents.

No they don’t?

Interesting, because I’m learning that a little ventilation goes a long way. I got a CO2 meter to measure the ventilation in my garage for my golf simulator build.

With the door closed it shoots up to 950+ ppm pretty fast. With the garage door half open it stays in the 420-470 range, even with major obstructions in the room to the air flow. Outdoor air is 375-450. I haven’t experimented with it a quarter open yet.

From my research, anything <600 should be safe. 600-800 is safe-ish, 800+ not so much.

But it seems likely that even a standard sized window makes a huge difference.

Oh yeah lol me. My bad!

JFC WTF LOL URS

It’s still a weird claim. “Deadliest Day” surely requires some addition, not simply a single event. And if we amend it to “Deadliest Single Event” then I don’t think Covid deaths really count as a single event or even really occur at a particular time. Not sure why I’m typing all this. It’s obviously horrific.

The scientist, Moncef Slaoui, is a venture capitalist and a former longtime executive at GlaxoSmithKline. Most recently, he sat on the board of Moderna, a Cambridge, Mass., biotechnology firm with a $30 billion valuation that is pursuing a coronavirus vaccine. He resigned when President Trump named him last Thursday to the new post as chief adviser for Operation Warp Speed, the federal drive for coronavirus vaccines and treatments.

Just days into his job, the extent of Dr. Slaoui’s financial interests in drug companies has begun to emerge: The value of his stock holdings in Moderna jumped nearly $2.4 million, to $12.4 million when the company released preliminary, partial data from an early phase of its candidate vaccine trial that helped send the markets soaring on Monday.

Well there you go. That’s why we passed on more Pfizer pre-orders.

A lot of stuff about Moderna smells really really fishy to me. I wonder how hard it would be to completely fake a clinical trial. Just wait for the results then lie about who got the placebo? I assume this stuff has to be audited like crazy. But are they required to file who had the placebo and who didn’t before the results come in?

Yea im planning on the Pfizer vaccine. Fuck Moderna. Don’t trust them at all.

Moderna has released their clinical trial protocols. I assume people who know better than me would pitch a fit if the auditing protocol was insufficient.

Don’t read this article if you like sleeping at night. Seriously, I didn’t finish it. It’s that bad.

Pretty much everyone I know acknowledges this.

Yes but do you know the origin of that?

Obviously there are a lot more restrictions in most provinces vs most states. There is also more of a safety net available. The consumer mindset still has many people going out every day regardless.

One never hears of Wyoming, good or bad, during a pandemic.

Just eyeballing tonight. We are at roughly 6 fold the early fall trough in daily cases. 35k-210k.

The mid fall death trough was a bit over 700.

So yep on target for over 4200 with the case rate still increasing.

I’m guessing a full 3000 on worldmeters tomorrow. 2900 today with a few states not reporting.

Yeah the conspiracy bs about the vaccine should not be welcome here. Pfizer and moderna have basically the same vaccine but moderna pioneered this process. This is a bad position
