Missoula, MT is one of the most beautiful, wonderful places I’ve ever visited.
Man, they are using CDC saying it takes 15 minutes of exposure to get COVID to say it’s safe to have crowded hallways between classes.
Hopefully in late January the CDC can update their guidance.
Your fellow human beings are the bogeys you need to dodge in order to prevent the 'rona, and I’m pretty sure there aren’t any of those in Montana so it sounds good to me!
How is Bozeman?
Theyre not going to be charging that in other countries, which is the giant tip off that its a scam.
It’s those idiots on plane. Plus Id be on Delta which appears to take Coronavirus seriously.
This thread is fkin wild and still getting wilder. A train wreck in progress.

I’m probably being a little unfair. We get lol’d at alongside Idaho/Dakotas/Kentucky and other true red hellholes more than I’d like, but most of you are fairly kind. Our statewide presidential voting record is admittedly worthy of scorn, but our cities are largely blue and we elect a fair amount of Dem governors/senators.
Bozeman is awesome. Incredibly beautiful area with lots of outdoor access, and (for its size) a decent food/entertainment scene. Gets criticized by locals for being expensive and “like a mini Portland” - the latter of which is largely a plus in my book. Bozeman is also pretty close to Yellowstone National Park which should probably be on everyone’s bucket list.
I noticed that it’s close to Yellowstone though I’d rather go to Yo Semite.
Ive been to Yo Semite.
Its beautiful, but friends who have been to both prefer Yellowstone.
I’m too lazy to check on it’s legitimacy but it looks nice so here you go COVID-19 "Long Hauler" Symptoms Survey Report: To Cite This Report, Please Credit: Lambert, N. J. & Survivor Corps | PDF | Thorax | Symptom
Cliffs, symptoms of covid 19 and long term complications are EVERYTHING
Mask up, don’t touch anything, gargle with sanitizer.
I wouldn’t fly for pleasure atm, but much like going to the doctor at this point, it probably has to be done in some cases and we pretty much know the drill.
Most states holding fairly constant. Only Hawaii with a signficant case rise, but not of the decreases are much more than 5%/d and the bigger ones of those have some issues with reduced testing (Looking at you Florida). Still at worst we are holding steady nationally, probably we are getting a modest decline until OFS kicks in. Expect a further extended lag as the primary age group will be younger, so it will take that much longer for the students to infect their parents to infect their parents and older folks they work around.
MS of note climbing in 14 day sum (number of infectious folks walking around).
I assume its only a matter of time before he calls it Jellystone and complains about bears taking his picanic basket
They’ve gotten better in the past 10 years. Sometimes they’re kinda’ rough but typically you can expect ~3-4 months of dry, cold weather with somewhere between 5-20 days of below-zero temps in any given year. There are also occasional days of 40 degree temps interspersed throughout Dec/Jan/February which gives you a relative break. If you keep your car in a garage and enjoy winter sports then I don’t think it’s a huge deal.
Summers are pretty solid. I think we’ve only had like 5 days over 90F so far this year.
Glacier National Park is one of my favorite places in the country, and definitely one of the most beautiful.
Testing is way up in Hawaii, too.
