Some idiot guest was awaiting results on a covid-19 test and went to the party anyway. Got a bunch of people sick.
I understand that many people will be downloading the COVID19 app.
However, if I am one of your “contacts” and you intend on installing the app, “Healthy Together”-- “AB Trace Together” – or any similar tracing app, I am respectfully asking you to DELETE ME from your phone contact list, Facebook and Instagram pages PRIOR to installing the app on your Smartphone!
The app WILL ask for permission to access your contact list, But NO ONE has my consent to use my name, phone number or any other identifying contact info in connection with these tracking apps which will identify me and locate me without my knowledge or permission. I resent this tracking and will not comply.

Yeah people will claim it no matter what. I’ll always take a local hole in the wall spot with good reviews over a run of the mill chain, if it’s between a fancy or middle range local spot and the hole in the wall it depends on mood.
This makes a TON of sense to me. My understanding is most of the things that aerosolize droplets involve rapid movement and/or some sort of friction or vibration. It stands to reason that screaming would create that sort of combination to expel more viral load and aerosolize it.
Like think about the way a big cough makes your throat/upper respiratory tract feel… Not totally unlike how yelling feels.
I did absolutely love the nutter butter pie/ice cream at Miller’s Ale House til they killed it. I believe it’s Fridays that has the vanilla bean and white chocolate cheesecake that I cannot resist. I enjoy Applebee’s fajitas from the standpoint that you really can’t mess that up and it tastes pretty good.

Yeah I don’t think 2k dead a day will be enough for a lot of these people to start caring. They will just say its all olds who were going to die anyways. You needs probably around 5k dead a day for people to start freaking out and self isolating again imo.
Seeing as I’ve dated several hippy girls and we often partied in the wilderness for days, it’s absolutely possible for them to pee and shit behind a bush just as effectively as a man.
I mean many of these parties had porta potties but many did not. Personally as a man I refuse to shit in a portapotty or in the desert so like a pro I hold it for a few days. There was one time though that they had this camp that was serving juiced fruits & veggies with alcohol and I had like 6 of them and boy oh boy did I not take into account all that fiber. Only time I ever had to use a porta potty and it was pretty horrific for me and the porta potty.

The few experiences I’ve had with port-a-potties have convinced me I’d rather just shit in front of everyone grinning like an idiot a la my brother. There’s almost always someone worth throwing feces at anyways but I only want to throw my own.

I mean the trump freedom lovers won’t care regardless I agree but I think there is a chunk of people who just assume the risk of dying is so low and they’re willing to risk that low probability to live life normally. If shit gets up to 5k/day they will change their assessment.

Yeah like I said trump lovers won’t give a shit regardless. There has been other posts of them having family members dying and they still deny reality. They’re legit fully brainwashed.
But there are tons of non trump lovers out there also not taking this seriously who basically decided 1k olds dying a day isn’t enough to keep them from going out. 5k dead a day might. Like the educated liberals Cuse has mentioned, I think people like that might change their tune when this gets super bad.

It would be interesting to note from such high numbers if it takes being seriously below SDI to get an actual decrease. How low did NY NJ get when they were crushing?
R really needs to get down to .8 or something otherwise it’s just a long slow decline or plateau.
I go to restaurants to eat food that is too much of a pain in the ass to make to cook in small batches. The kind of meals that used to be prepared for holidays by many people for a whole community. Food that takes longer than 30 minutes of active involvement from the cook.
And food that I can’t prepare because I lack the skill of course. I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve given up on sushi. The combination of the preparation having a lot of potential ways to fail and the difficulty of sourcing good ingredients… I’m just going to eat it at restaurants forever.

So much for bragging about how well Alberta is doing. We had 350 cases this weekend taking us back over 1,000. Our positive rate climbed to almost 2%. The biggest rise is among young people.
