I think you should walk very carefully here, because it sounds like you’re talking about evicting a tenant without much process in a state that has imposed a moratorium on evictions.
He has already left on his own accord. I have it in writing. His stuff is just still here.
If my business completely crumbles, and it may, I doubt I will start again doing the same thing with the same people. I’ve been in a great situation for quite a long time, and I’m grateful for it, but without the momentum of all our years in business and the income that comes with that I am likely to try something new, or just go on my own doing the same thing.

50,000 or very very close seems like a complete lock at this point. We are over 30,000 today and are still missing probably 12,000-15,000 from Texas/California plus another ten or so states yet to report. Not enough LOLs in the world for:

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday ordered tougher restrictions for much of the state, requiring 19 counties experiencing increased spread of coronavirus to halt visits to indoor restaurants, wineries and tasting rooms, entertainment centers, movie theaters, zoos, museums and card rooms.
The governor is imposing the restrictions on indoor activities in advance of the July 4 holiday weekend, when officials fear disaster if Californians continue to ignore safety guidelines and businesses remain open in areas already experiencing significant spikes in COVID-19 infections. Newsom is also recommending the cancellation of all fireworks shows on the Fourth of July in the affected counties, and is urging all Californians to rethink having large get-togethers with friends and neighbors to celebrate the holiday.
“This doesn’t mean restaurants are shut down,” Newsom said. “It means that we’re trying to take the activities, as many activities as we can – these mixed activities, these concentrated activities — and move them outdoors, which is a way of mitigating the spread of this virus.”
Newsom said his order closes indoor activities in Contra Costa, Fresno, Glenn, Imperial, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Merced, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Tulare and Ventura counties.
The change marks a major reversal in the state’s reopening process that began in early May and quickly progressed by June 12 to allow retail stores, dine-in restaurants, bars, religious services, card rooms, hair and nail salons, gyms and other businesses to open again with modifications in counties that met state guidelines.

I’m not a lawyer, but I don’t think you have the unilateral right to prohibit the guy from getting his stuff just because you think he’s sick.

This is the type of thing that’s driving me nuts. Like, I’ve been really good obviously, but there’s absolutely no reward for it. My apartment complex is opening up the pool today with a fucking PARTY. I guess it’s legal cause it’s outdoors, but it’s still stupid to just open it up to everyone at once with food and drinks. No distancing for any of the lounge chairs or anything either. Then across the street is the day club that’s been open. I’m going to be at an epicenter for a local outbreak in 4-6 weeks and I’m pissed.
Every time I start to feel a little more safe, the masses are like WHOOO HOOO OPEN 'ER UP PARTAAAAAAAAAY!!! So I hang my head and go back to full lockdown.
I’ll probably be trying another golf outing next week, we’ll see how I feel with that here in PA.
I have to make an appointment to go to my pool.

I just basically made him sign something when he gave me his 30 days that said our rental agreement ends on June 30th 2020, and that i dont owe him a deposit back (never took one), pretty short and sweet.
If he wants to just keep staying here i dont suppose i can really stop him.
So far there’s no argument, but we’re definitely not in agreement about this. He thinks it’s no big deal, even feels ok enough about it to go into work (no one forced him to). So I think he thinks I’m making a big deal about it but I’m really not.
If his gf comes back negative for covid then that’ll be good enough for me.
