Bars are definitely open in newport beach. I have friends that work in them.

"All businesses, industries, and entities listed on the Stateâs website at Current safety measures - Coronavirus COVID-19 Response and at Current safety measures - Coronavirus COVID-19 Response that reopen in Orange County as part of Stage 2 of the Stateâs Resilience Roadmap shall post their corresponding industry-specific checklist at a location visible to the public at the public entrance of each property.
In addition to the foregoing industry-specific checklist, all businesses, industries, and entities shall post a document at a location visible to the public at the public entrance of each property that specifically includes an attestation by the business, industry, or entity owner and/or operator that it has:
- Performed a detailed risk assessment and implemented a site-specific protection plan;
- Trained employees on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, including how to screen themselves for symptoms and stay home if they have them;
- Implemented individual control measures and screenings;
- Implemented disinfecting protocols; and
- Implemented physical distancing guidelines.
- Cloth Face-Covering: All Orange County residents and visitors shall wear a cloth face-covering outside their home when they are not able to maintain at least 6 feet of physical distance from another person who is not a family/household member or does not reside in the same living unit. The cloth face-covering order SHALL NOT APPLY to the following persons:
- Children under the age of 2;
- Anyone who has trouble breathing, or who is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the cloth face-covering without assistance; or

I just noticed Brazil has over 600k Covid cases only performing 900k tests. Surely that canât be right can it? If it is, Brazil is going to win the race to herd immunity by a mile.

For all the loss Swedes have endured, there has been no associated economic gain, which is what many claimed was the saving grace of the Swedish approach. According to the European Commission, Swedenâs economic forecast of a 6% reduction in GDP for 2020 is on par with its neighbors, Norway and Denmark who implemented much stricter lockdown measures.

State. South Australia. Essentially this just means Adelaide, a city of 1.3 million, as the second-largest city in the state has less than 30,000 people and the population of the whole state is 1.68 million. There was a cluster of cases in the Barossa Valley, a wine region an hour north of Adelaide, but COVID never reached anywhere more remote than that. Australia has something like 500 active cases.
So even badass COVID-19 canât survive in Australia.

I posted about it some days ago, but random-sample antibody testing showed that in Stockholm County, the hardest-hit area, 7.3% of people were seropositive as of the start of May, vs the governmentâs forecast of 26%. As of May 22 the state epidemiologist had moved on to claiming, without evidence, that 20% of people in Stockholm probably had antibodies by then. Extrapolating from known case numbers then vs May 1 suggested 9.4% were seropositive, so he was claiming, based on nothing, a more-than-doubling of the ratio of unknown cases to known cases in the space of three weeks. IDK about you but this does not strike me as plausible.
