No but something similar. Maybe it wasn’t even big enough to be noticed though - since nobody freaks out about old or people who are already sick dying. And obviously I’m just massively spitballing as to why Japan so far doesn’t seem to be hit very hard.
Maybe it’s all just social distancing, plus cleanliness, plus they listing to their fucking government (I can say from first hand experience that Italians do not like their govt telling them what to do).

Vermont schools ordered to be closed no later than Wednesday. Date they would reopen is TBD, but no earlier than April 6.
Next shoe to drop is going to be the mass layoffs in the US. I’m an employment lawyer and a ton of companies are ramping up layoff plans. Good thing we have a strong safety net in place.
