When I grew up in the Netherlands nobody felt the need to lie about their height as the European height everone lies about is 180 cm and even then for Dutch men that was considered short so saying you are 180 was not going to impress people. Only when I moved to Australia I ran into people claiming to be 6 feet while clearly shorter than my 5’11’'. And yes that does mean I am short for a Dutch guy.
i watched a couple of that dutch giant body builders youtube videos. and it was so lackluster because he was walking around to car dealerships in the one but everyone he encountered was 6’4"-6’6" themselves so there wasn’t a stark contrast.
