We’re quibbling here over things that we can’t know, so it’s completely unproductive and I’ll drop it. But even in the scenario you laid out, 10% of voters changing from GOP to Dem is a 12k change in final margin, not 6k.
Trump is stealing the moment to spew more hate. Maybe he’ll mention Puerto Rico before he runs out of breath.
CNN already breaking away to fact check.
He’s back with more disgusting crap… And cut away again… We’re on repeat or something.
I’m taking any Hopium I can find, 500k Puerto Rican voters in a swing state getting pissed off works for me. At least it got Trump off his immigration message.
Hes a communist! Boo this man!

I think if the conclusion is that the Puerto Rico joke changes the outcome of the election 1 out of 250 times, then that’s a big deal.
So your analysis assumes that that comment only affects people that identify as Puerto Rican?
CNN: Trump calls NYC rally “absolute love fest”
Shockingly, no apology. I guess they came back to him after like a half hour away but I had it muted.

Sounds like he’s describing a Diddy/Epstein party.
100% of the time this leads to the eventual rise of our greatest president:
President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho
Not really totally but yes, primarily. I think most people have their minds made up a week out from the election and if they don’t they likely didn’t register to vote.
I mean, a lot of people get automatically registered to vote through motor voter or other interactions with the state. There’s also people who registered in previous election cycles that weren’t paying attention who maybe are now. It’s going to have some impact, the question is how big which of course we’ll never know the answer to.
Yea I think people just liking that this is clearly bad for him at least in a small part and any win is a win
No doubt those are a lot of voters and they’re beyond hope, but I think you’re missing just how many are low info and are just waiting for some easy wave to ride to the voting booth. My co worker yesterday went from not being sure whether she’d even vote to now saying she doesn’t see how anyone could vote for Trump.
Hope you and others here are right on that one.
But is she registered? And if so, will you accompany her (or otherwise make sure she gets to) to the polls?
She works at an early voting site. I won’t be there those days. My point is just that there’s plenty of people who are not quite sure what to make of all this but will gladly participate in a good show. This is unfortunately a kind of entertainment.
I have also spoken with younger folks who are not sure about the policies but will vote according to character because they think Trump is vile.
Shoulda let it be state charges.
