The legal system is doing its job: adjudicating whether Trump committed crimes and whether he can be prosecuted. There is nothing wrong with how the legal system handled him.
He was convicted of more felonies than I have fingers months ago and won’t be sentenced until after he has a 50/50 chance of being able to pardon himself. Lol.

Look, I have some sympathy for your point of view. I really want the idea of our legal system to work, and to deal with both street crime and white collar crime alike. But my request for the people who believe it’s still working, even in the case of Trump, just wait this one out for us, please. I promise you, the day he is actually sentenced and the cell door is closed on him, you can have ALL the victory laps. You can hurl every insult imaginable at me regarding how stupid I am about our legal system. Do not hold back. But until that time comes, please please please do not tell me how it’s all going as it should. Let us have our moment. The legal system has yet to hold him to anything close to accountable for the crimes we know he has committed. We know them because he often openly admits to them. We have pictures of boxes of classified documents in his bathroom. The court case should be a formality and it’s been punted into perpetuity. I cannot even begin to fathom how the system is working. But if it does, IF, then the moment is yours, I promise.

He was convicted of a state crime. In this particular instance, he will be sentenced before he could take office as well.
Ok I didn’t realize we were talking about a specific case. It’s a lock he will pardon himself for the Federal charges.
Sorry, instead of pardoning himself the SCOTUS vacates his conviction. Either way, state or federal crimes, dude walks if he wins. And he might walk if he loses too. I’m not sure how exactly, the mechanics don’t matter. Some judge somewhere will find some way to keep him out of jail.

The state of Georgia isn’t going to lock up the President of the US. If he wins, it’s moot. If he loses, who cares. lol law as always.
Only about eight percent of public school funding comes from the Federal Government anyway, some from the Department of Education, which he says wouldn’t be there anymore anyway. So, I highly doubt that his threat to not send money to liberal school systems would change any curriculum policies.
