For the me the funniest part is Trump losing his shit over the most basic joke possible at :24. I don’t think I’ve actually seen him laugh before.

Our case is a little different in that much of the probability of us having a right wing prime minister is the currents ones ego won’t let him step down even though all the signs point to his being wiped out in the next election.

Yeah idk what Trudeau is doing. One of the main benefits of a parliamentary system is you can swap out an unpopular leader whenever and it’s pretty much all upside for your party but he’s just like “nah”. But there still has to be a non-trivial amount of citizens who want fascism for it to win so it’s not all his fault.

The only time I remember him laughing was when he was talking to Epstein at some party but even then I think he was just grinning and Epstein was laughing.
Comey was so confused by this he even went on YouTube months later, to try and track down video evidence of Trump chuckling — and could only find one.
I came across that live on tiktok. I was open mouth dumbfounded.
Lol he should of used that as an opportunity to talk about the importance of early voting.

Yah, that’s what I’m saying. Obviously he has that stupid grin on his face a lot, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen him laugh…and he wasted it on that joke.
I’m sure at some point it was drilled into him that laughter is a sign of weakness and giving up your power to the person that makes you laugh. But that “economy’s so bad…” zinger broke him.
Had a look back at the Theo Von podcast report and, oddly enough, I noted 4 times that Trump laughed. I’d have to go back and rewatch but I’m pretty sure they were small laughs and never any genuine big jolly chuckles.

Most of my friends aren’t American and they’re scared of another Trump presidency.
He is a disaster. No doubt. I think he ran so lucky in his first term, up until covid which he handled terribly. So, if he gets a second term, he will be inheriting problems and issues that he didn’t have to worry about before. And I fully expect him to handle these things terribly as well, because that’s what he does. He’ll have no fix for inflation, will give Ukraine to the Russians and will support Israel in the endless and likely escalating war. And God knows what other issues will come up that he’ll completely fumble. His popularity rating will be even lower than his first term but his supporters will still love him more than ever.

i’m still cracking up over how he just unilaterally decided that instead of answering town hall questions, he was gonna make everyone listen to music for 35 minutes.
i guess a washington post reporter got this photo of the teleprompter begging him to answer more questions before the jam session
