Consequences
Theyâre off Wednesdays. Itâs hugely problematic theyâll have so much access to media coverage in that time.
Thatâs another thing, why is Wednesday an off day? Law just a 4 day week thing now? Plus next week presumably law will be a 4 day week thing again with no Wednesday. Or will that be waived because of where they are in the case? A memorial day thing? As Bumble would say âthe laws an assâ.
I asked previously in this thread and I think the answer was that the judge needs a day during the week to do things other than this trial.
Itâs that he has other cases heâs working on. This commonly happens in long trials.
Judge is also afraid the jury will be sequestered through a long weekend so they are playing it safe.
Last week the judge said he wanted the trial to continue on Wednesday of this week, but at least one of the jurors had a conflict. Heâs doing summation next week because he doesnât want to break up summation and deliberation (for whatever thatâs worth).
Do juries get sequestered during deliberation if they havenât been for the balance of the trial? I didnât think so, nor would that seem to make logical sense.
Juries generally donât get sequestered until deliberation.
Nobody wants to work anymore.

Some revelations on the classified documents today. This Axios article is just one.
An empty folder and âanother mostly empty folder marked `Classified Evening Summaryââ were found when Trump lawyers searched his properties following the FBIâs August 2022 raid on the former presidentâs Florida home.
What happened to the documents? Did he eat them? Use them for TP?
This was after the raid, so either it was always empty or the Feds got em.
The Feds should have taken anything marked classified, including empty folders. At some point the empty folder held documents. Now it doesnât.
Merchan was born in Columbia. Vermin. Poisoning the blood. Unify the Reich.
I canât imagine Trump was every scrupulous about returning classified documents back to their proper folders after showing them off to his friends.
