well let’s game this out. trump is sentenced and imprisoned before the election. he wins while in jail. moves to like, protective custody within the prison or something.
then i guess he’s inaugurated in prison. at which point he orders the secret service to bust him out and they do quite easily, nobody working at a new york jail for $20 an hour is gonna fight the secret service.
so he’s a president and escaped convict at once. new york supreme court yada yada they demand extradition. real supreme court says “nah we’re the criminals, the mask is off this guy is above all laws”
and i watch it go down like this and go, “ah! well, nevertheless”
he was going to have a record donation day the day the verdict dropped regardless of which way it went. it was either CORRUPTION! CORRUPTION! CORRUPTION! or INVINCIBLE! INVINCIBLE! INVINCIBLE!. so i’m not too worried about that idea.
