If it was a bullet, it was the tiniest edge of the bullet, hitting the tiniest edge of Trump’s ear. There’s no way the entire bullet passed through his ear. Expert marksmen could probably shoot all day and never make such thin contact.

This was my thought when I first saw the picture but now that Trump says it it sounds kind of dumb. That trail is not the bullet but it does seem to have a reddish hue for some reason.
Not that anyone doubted it, but in order to rid our Country of the political statement put out by the Director of the FBI, in between fighting for the Safety and Security of those burning our American Flags, and right now spraying our beautiful Limestone Monuments in Washington, D.C., this is a picture of the bullet right after piercing my ear. Perhaps FBI Director Christopher Wray will notice there is no shrapnel or glass flying through the ear, only a bloodstained bullet. It’s all so damaging to the Great People that work in the FBI. As The New York Times reported, other bullets came very close. Nobody ever called, even out of curiosity, from the Federal Bureau of Insurrection. P.S. After the Great Supreme Court Decision, when are the hunted down J6 Hostages going to be released, and when are yesterday’s Vandals and Flag Burners going to be put in prison?

FBI now contradicting the director, saying it was a bullet or a piece of a bullet. They give no reason for being so sure.

I think just the opposite. We know for sure that a guy was aiming bullets at Trump. It’s a very simple explanation that one of the bullets just barely grazed the intended target. It’s a straight line.
Seems way more complicated to explain the shrapnel theory. One of the bullets aimed at Trump missed the target and hit something else (what??) and then just happened to angle back at the intended target again?

I’m no detective or ballistics expert, but I’m sure they combed every square inch and collected every possible slug/bullet fragment there could be. Just see if his dna is on anything… Why is this so hard?
Whether it was a bullet or shrapnel, it’s clear that it only barely grazed the ear and certainly did not pierce it. So lightly that it may as well have been a scratch of Melania’s nails.
I’ve had to look for fragments after explosives tests, including bullet impact. It can be done, but I don’t think they could find everything. Of what they did find, the director seemed to know few details when he testified. What the doctors found or think, they’re not saying; except for Ronny J. What definitive details we might get will be in a report that comes out months from now. If Trump gets elected, forget that.

I am struggling to see why it matters. Either way, he wasn’t really struck by a bullet, and either way, he seems to have gotten pretty lucky.
I’d just keep saying that Trump got grazed by a bullet and move on.
