Michigan has never recruited like ohio state in the modern era. A lot closer this year, the difference between the top recruiting classes isn’t as stark. We actually got more 5* this year, I’m sure that hasn’t happened in a while.
They use that chastity in about the same way when they get caught.

When he followed through on that, the staffer went in and revealed the truth about their relationship.

It will be very interesting in the next few years to see how NIL and transfers continue to shape college sports. Using an example of the one team I know about, Virginia got a big anonymous donation before this season and used it to get aggressive in the portal. They didn’t get a ton of the “best” players, but their success this season was mostly because they got experienced transfers (yes, yes, I know the ACC was weak, as well, but it’s still pretty great to have the program’s second 10-win season, and maybe the first 11-win season).
Their recruiting class is weak, but they do tend to find some undervalued guys that go on to have good careers. I expect them to go hard in the portal again and maybe next year’s recruiting class will improve with this year’s success.
Basically, I’m curious to see if recruiting classes mean less as the years go on because so many players transfer multiple times.

What? He had a consensual sexual relationship with his secretary per everything I’ve seen. That’s not great and won’t be tolerated, but it’s not abuse either. Especially not abuse comparable to PSU like WDM does.
Side note: michigan actually has their own serious sexual abuse scandal, but it’s from the 70s-90s involving a doctor in the athletic department
The mental health aspect is tough. I’m guessing it’s more FAFO on this one but that still doesn’t mean he didn’t have a crisis yesterday.
Consensual is always an interesting word when there is an unbalanced power dynamic involved.
I expect there will be shenanigans one way or the other (or both) in stories about who knew what when.
Of course at my school they essentially begged the NCAA to be harsh in order to have the best story to defend in the Tucker lawsuit.
