College Football 2024: Hail to THE Buckeyes

Like I got bored of natties almost ten years ago and have been half heartedly posting non sequitur cfb trolls while watching 0-4 games per season ever since

But it’s cute to still check in and see who takes the farce seriously

the whole point of expanding the playoff was (supposedly) to give teams less incentive to pack their schedule with creampuffs and the results seem to be that creampuffs are in fact the way to go, gjge

You’re not allowed to call ACC teams cream puffs unless it’s in the context of an SEC team’s OOC

seems like people (both here and in the general public) hear “ACC” are are still thinking about the FSU/UM glory days when the reality is way, way closer to conference USA

The lesson of Alabama being left out it don’t lose to fucking Vanderbilt when you are Alabama

The ACC is a basketball conference and always has been.

or, if you do, don’t lose to a second 6-6 team.

seems pretty straight-forward.

Congratulations to: PedoState

That might be changing though. Half the Kenpom top 10 is SEC schools.

It just means more

I don’t know how someone gets the idea I’m constantly posting about Alabama. The discussion is dumb. College football seasons aren’t nearly long or connected enough to have any objective answer to the debate particularly when there are no guidelines.

We’ve gone from discussion about who should be number 2 to who should be number 4 to who should be 11. It’s only gotten murkier especially as parity has grown at the top.

So if this season was last season.

Georgia
Texas
Boise
Oregon

In the playoffs?

lol Boise

Probably sneak ND in there.

It’d be Oregon, Georgia, Texas, Notre Dame

yeah like vanderbilt

Yeah, this. But they’d sneak Notre Dame to #3 to avoid an instant rematch.

penn state either fucked up their ticketing, or deliberately decided to lie about how many students requested tickets to sell more general admissions… students are saying they requested and didnt get tickets, and the school is saying that ALL requests were fulfilled but there werent enough requests.

they apparently said 5k student tickets went unclaimed so those tickets will go from 28 dollar tickets to 150 or so… seems unlikely that a school that regularly does 21k student tickets would suddenly not be able to meet their allotment.

We had bitching about being left out when there was 2 and then 4.

But if you are bitching about being left out of 12 you have lost the plot.
