They will deny it all day long, but I’m sure it is to make sure two teams from the same conference aren’t playing round 1.

It’s fine if they didn’t play, PSU didn’t play Indiana

if they did then yes I would as well.

clemson was 17th last week and only passed the team that lost to 16th

Unexpectedly, now I see Saban outside of his role as Alabama’s coach he seems like a nice likeable totally reasonable dude.

Oregon v Ohio State in the rose bowl would be why did we screw everything up for money again just to get the same shit?

Illinois in the Citrus Bowl is gonna be like that Illinois USC Rose bowl in 2007. One of these things just doesn’t belong.

It’s a damn shame Alabama got left outta the playoffs this year. I mean, what the hell were the seleection committy thinking? Those guys have been burstin their asses all season, and then they just get screwed over. It’s like they dont even care about talent or hard work anymore! The Crimson Tide has a rich histroy and desurves better than this bullsht. Seriously, how can you ignore there recored? This whole sitch is just a fucking disgrace, and fans are right to be pissed off!

As someone who hates Bama, maybe Bama should be in, maybe USC, maybe someone else…but definitely not SMU.

SMU has a better resume than Clempson, and shouldn’t be punished for playing a conference championship game

I think the year Sparty went to the 4 team playoff.

Yes 2015.

You lost 24-3 to fucking Oklahoma

Don’t lose 3 times next time

Lolllllllll

Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria, is not someone typically associated with college football, let alone the NCAAF playoffs. However, in a more satirical or hypothetical context, one might argue that his inclusion in the conversation could bring an interesting layer of intrigue to the NCAAF playoffs. Given his controversial leadership and the global attention he garners, it could be said that his “bid” would attract unprecedented media attention and global dialogue, adding a political dimension to the sports narrative. Of course, in reality, a bid to the playoffs requires athletic prowess, and Assad’s involvement in any form of sports competition would be completely unrelated to his political role. Nonetheless, if we indulge in the absurdity of this hypothetical scenario, one might argue that his “bid” would serve as a reminder of how sports, politics, and culture are sometimes intertwined in ways that stir up conversation and challenge our conventional ideas about competition.

Not much different than Texas’ best win

gonna be so sweet to run it up against UM hahahaha

dude I’m not even mad, I said bama didn’t deserve to make it to the playoff like a month ago, but there’s really no way to justify putting SMU in over bama (or ole miss for that matter) other than irrational anti-SEC bias

honestly I think the 12-team playoff is terrible all around, even the four-team playoff is terrible. but if theyr’e gonna have it they should at least try not to make it a joke
