I am a little confused here. If this was a meniscus tear surgery as I suspect he could be back, but probably not. Would hope they didn’t send him out there with a busted acl

Seems like he’s getting a meniscus repair. People have come back in 4 weeks from that, but usually it’s longer. We’ll see.

Yeah apparently those look super flimsy. He’s not going to miss the BTCCG. Message board chatter is that he had the gun stored in a car that would be legal if he had a CCL but not if it was just a normal gun, and he had already had done all the things for his CCL it just wasn’t completely approved.

ha… but I don’t think that’s what happened either. If it was, releasing it right before the ccg is a choice. Sure seems like they didn’t need to file charges at all.
edit: nevermind. too superstitious to be saying that.

Also, not that it will move the needle much, but Virginia QB Brennan Armstrong is transferring. Went from leading a top 2-3 offense last season to being terrible this season. Literally threw pick-sixes on his first two passes in his final game. Coaching change obviously hurt, as did losing the entire offensive line (I believe a couple transfers start for Michigan and USC). I’m sure the deaths of three teammates probably factored into his decision, too.
If Syracuse needs a QB, I would think that would be one of his top targets, as his former Virginia offensive coaches are there.
