lol Auburn had SO MANY CHANCES
flucking nailed it
Crazy - Yale shouldnāt have even been here down 4-5 points with a minute less multiple times in the Ivy championship. But they were solid all year.
Bruce Pearlās NCAA tournament resume leads me to believe karma is real.
Letās go Nebrasketball!!!
The only P5 school to never win a game in the NCAA tourney.
Keisei Tominaga has been fun to watch all year!
Ughā¦
Keisei needs to bring it in the second half.
The only reason Edey shouldnāt score 60 is theyāll be up by so much heāll sit the entire second half.
SEC taking a shit in the tourney, standard
Maybe next yearā¦
Gonna miss himā¦
Bigger margin of victory coming? Houston over Longwood or James Madison over Wisconsin?
āHeās so good at it. Edging and then double teamingā
according to my b*&kie the Houston-Longwood ml about an hour before tipoff was a laughing emoji
TIL Zach Edey is 1/2 ethnically Chinese.
I definitely thought Grand Canyon University was online only.
What is Marquetteās story? They beat Illinois, Kansas, and Creighton (at home). Only lost by 3 to Purdue at home. Losses to Wisconsin, Butler (at home), UConn three times (28 points at UConn, 7 points at home, and 16 points in the Big East Final), and Creighton by 14 at Creighton.
Are they a team that struggles against quality opponents? I think Colorado is underrated.
I donāt know if Iād say they have trouble against quality opponents, more that UConn and Creighton are really good. Illinois and Wisconsin were both playing very differently at the beginning of the year so itās hard for me to compare since those are the teams I know most about. The Butler loss at home is the only one that surprises me.
They have a senior PG in Tyler Kolek who has good handles, can play in your face D, averages nearly 8 assists per game and can drop 20+ on any night. Then junior Kam Jones is their wing who shoots 40%+ from 3PT and averages about 17 a game (but might drop 30 for fun). They also have senior big in Oso Ighodaro (I pronounce it āI-go-hardoā out of respect for his motor), who averages 7 rebounds and 14pts/game.
Last thing to account for is their head coach is Shaka Smart, who had great success at mid-major VCU but then āfloppedā for Texas. I think heās a great coach and Marquette might be the perfect place for him as itās still a major conference and is located about an hour from his hometown. Shaka will be prepared and I trust him more than Tad Boyle, though thatās mostly because I donāt know anything about Coloradoās head coach.
